Bakuchiol - Bakuchiol is a 100% natural alternative to retinol but without any of the associated negative side effects, particularly great for sensitive skin. A potent antioxidant, it has been clinically demonstrated to reduce hyperpigmentation and address multiple signs of ageing as efficiently as retinol. It is said to increase skin cell turnover, helping to remove dead skin cells and replace them with new, fresh cells, giving skin an overall smoother and more even skin tone.

Kaolin clay- A natural mineral clay with cleansing properties that work well to help clear the skin.
Bentonite clay- Composed of aged volcanic ash. It is unique in that it has the ability to produce an “electrical charge” when hydrated. When mixed with water, its electrical components change, allowing it to absorb toxins. Bentonite is thus often used to detoxify toxins, heavy metals, chemicals and other impurities from the skin.
Brazilian green clay- Detoxing benefits and sebum control.
Green clay- Green clay is the most effective clay to draw impurities and toxins from the skin. It also helps to soothe and relax skin that is tight or irritated. Green clay has a cleansing nature and is very beneficial to use on the main parts of the body.
Spirulina powder- Decreases inflammation, tones the skin and encourages cell turnover to promote a more youthful-looking complexion. Topical application is said to be effective in treating dark undereye circles. Spirulina contains tyrosine, vitamin E, and selenium, all of which are known for their anti-aging effects.

Brazilian rose clay– Beautiful and soft in colour and is particularly suited for sensitive skin types. Contains antioxidant, antiaging and detoxing activities.
Ghassoul clay– (moroccan lava clay) – Also known as Rhassoul or Moroccan Clay, Ghassoul clay is a unique and luxuriant superfine clay powder that is nutrient-dense and rich in minerals such as Silica, known to help tone the skin and improve resilience. It is highly esteemed around the world in exclusive professional spas for its cleansing, nourishing, exfoliating and rejuvenating properties.
Red clay– Best clay to use all over the face. It is suitable to use around the eye area to help improve the appearance of dark circles, puffy eyes, or bags under the eyes. High in iron oxide, it may also help to improve the appearance of broken capillaries.
Kaolin clay– A natural mineral clay with cleansing properties that work well to help clear the skin.
Colloidal oatmeal– (avena sativa oat kernel flour) - Oatmeal is a gentle ingredient that has long been used to soothe dry, irritated, and inflamed skin conditions. Colloidal Oatmeal is simply dried whole oats that have been ground into a very fine powder enabling them to be dispersed

Macadamia oil- (Macadamia integrifolia) - Macadamia oil is great for aged, dry or damaged skin. It is moisturising, healing and restorative.

Many candles are made from paraffin wax which is petroleum based and contain many different carcinogens. Our candles will only ever be made using a blend of 100% pure soy and organic coconut wax.

Blended from 100% pure soybeans and botanical oils. We use a super creamy blend, which is non-toxic and non GMO. Due to soy wax’s plant based nature, it will burn cleaner, cooler, slower and more evenly.

Pure organic coconut candle wax, made from cold-pressed organic coconut meat, the same way coconut oil is extracted. Environmentally friendly, sustainable, organic, non GMO and has no pesticides. Benefits include burns cleaner than other types of candle wax, emits zero soot particles, as the wax is petro-carbon soot free. It burns slower and longer than soy and the best part is it enhances every aspect and detail of candle making, from appearance colour, burn time and the intensity of scent throw.

Our candles are either made up of natural fragrance oils, essential oils or standard fragrance oils. The natural fragrance oils are International Fragrance Association (IFRA) compliant and certified. They are made with a minimum of 80% natural plant based ingredients and essential oils. The standard fragrance oils are synthetically produced and used in low doses.
